The story follows a smart, lovely, compassionate, regal, and down to earth princess, Bridget who was second in line to the throne and was never supposed to be a queen. But when her brother abdicates for love, she has to take his place as Queen of Eldorra. She loved her freedom and normal life in U.S. , so after her brotherโ€™s abdication she naturally felt trapped and scared. But thats not the only thing she has to worry about.

Rhys Larsen, her new hot, grumpy, overbearing, protective and possessive bodyguard comes into her life. Instantly, there is a strong attraction between Rhys and Bridget, and although Rhys tries to keep it as professional as he can, Bridget makes it difficult for him. At first they had a difficult time getting along because they are such complete opposites of one another. But over time slowly something more starts to build between them which turns into a strong friendship before evolving into something far deeper than either of them had anticipated.

But the budding romance gets put to a hault as there is a marriage law that prevents Bridget from marrying anyone not a royal. But as Rhys and Bridget work through the issues that they face, they come to realize that their love is stronger than any lawโ€ฆ.

Twisted Games had such a delightful mixย of well-developed chemistry, strong friendships, and a love that was worth fighting for. The narrative was written in such a way that it will instantly endear its reader and make them grin! Ofcourse not to mention the steamy & explicit chemistry between them.

And my god the book dedication is nothing less than swoon worthy and beautiful:
