The books were written by commissioned writers in the UK under Baglios instruction using the pseudonym Lucy Daniels. Each ghostwriter is named with a Special Thanks on the copyright page. Baglio used the name Lucy Daniels so that when people looked for Road Dahl in the library they would see his books.
